The rules for using candlecandle responsibly.

These terms govern your use of candlecandle, including the journal, Candle game, social features, and any paid subscription features made available through the product.

Using the service

You may use candlecandle only in a lawful, responsible way

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with other users, scrape protected data, or use candlecandle for unlawful or abusive activity. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

No financial advice

candlecandle is a software product, not investment advice

The journal, analytics, benchmarks, rankings, and daily prediction game are for information, self-review, and entertainment purposes. Nothing in candlecandle should be treated as financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and you remain solely responsible for your trading decisions.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled

If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by Stripe. The final price, currency, and any applicable tax are shown in Stripe before you complete payment. Unless required otherwise by law, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel through Manage Billing.

Refund requests, if any, are handled case-by-case unless local law says otherwise

User content

You keep ownership of the content you enter

You keep ownership of your journal entries, comments, and other original content. You give candlecandle the limited rights needed to store, display, process, and back up that content so the service can function.

Social features

Usernames, leaderboards, and friend interactions must be used respectfully

If you use Candle’s social features, you agree not to impersonate others, abuse friend requests, post offensive usernames, or otherwise use the community features in a harmful way. candlecandle may remove or restrict abusive accounts or content.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis

We aim to keep candlecandle reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or error-free operation. To the fullest extent allowed by law, candlecandle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the product.
